Greenwood Garage Sale Day is Saturday

Our neighborhood’s huge annual Greenwood Garage Sale Day is coming up on Saturday, with more than 100 garage and yard sales, plus a flea market, tool sale and electronics recycling at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N. Click here for an online map.
In the lower parking lot of the PNA, you can recycle clothing, household goods, construction materials, CFL light bulbs and electronics, courtesy of SustainableWorks, Green Canopy, Cleanscapes, Goodwill, and InterConnection.
Garage sales and flea market hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The recycling and e-cycling at the PNA runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. So whatever doesn’t sell at your garage sale, bring it to the PNA afterwards.
And just in case you don’t find everything you’re looking for in Greenwood-Phinney, you can pop on over to Wallingford for its yard sale “tour,” benefitting McDonald International School and John Stanford International School.
The yard sale tour is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The main event is at McDonald School/Lincoln High School parking lot, 4400 Interlake Ave. N., where you can browse items from many families. Six neighborhood sites also will have sales to benefit the schools’ PTAs.
