Crash Landing Pizza at 702 NW 65th St. is closing after 10 years, because the neighboring Laundromat is expanding into its space. Crash Landing Owner Daniel Kaufman tells us the last day will be Dec. 12. He is not looking to reopen in a new space.
And according to its Facebook page, Pillager’s Pub at 8551 Greenwood Ave. N. is closing this Friday. According to a FB post, the owners are trying to sell the pub, which opened in March 2009.
Several neighborhood pubs are helping to collect food for the Greenwood Food Bank. On St. Patrick’s Day, bring non-perishable food or cash or check donations to Pillager’s Pub at 8551 Greenwood Ave. N., the 74th Street Ale House at 7401 Greenwood Ave. N., Tim’s Tavern at 602 N. 105th, or the Ould Triangle at 9736 Greenwood Ave. N.
The Greenwood Food Bank especially needs canned meat, soups, peanut butter, cereals, boxed meals and juices.
