We got a note this morning from Rachel about a cat she found near NW 90th Street and 13th Avenue NW:
This cat has been hanging around our house for about 12 hours now. It has no tags, we haven’t
yet checked for a microchip. It is calico grey with a poofy tail. Super friendly.

And here’s a close-up of that puffy tail.

Terry tells us he’s been caring for a lost cat near his house, and he’s hoping to find its owner.
There has been an older cat hanging at our house in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood near Ken’s market for the past 4 days. Anyone know of a missing cat? Please email and describe to PVTravel@aol.com. Thank you.

Update: Dog and owner have been reunited!
Earlier: Tara from Hazel Salon up on Phinney Ridge found a small dog today and is keeping it safe until its owners can be found.
We found a small black and tan dog running in front of our salon. It makes a lot of snorting noises, and doesn’t have a collar. If someone can tell us what sex it is, i will assume it is theirs. We will have it here at the salon until 7.

Contact Hazel Salon & Organics, 5817 Phinney Ave. N., 206-453-3515.

Update: Cat and owner have been reunited.
Someone claimed the cat as one she lost 2 months ago. We think someone from the neighborhood must have been feeding it since it is in good condition.
Earlier: We received this note this morning from Nancy about a found cat:
A fluffy black and white cat came visiting my office this morning and seems lost. Anyone looking for one? I’m at 68th and Greenwood. Call 781-2570.

Andrew says an unlocked bike has been leaning against a tree in Phinney for more than a week now. He doesn’t know if it was stolen or abandoned. He sent this black and white picture with the brand blurred out. If it’s your bike - and you can identify the color and brand - I’ll tell you where the bike is.
