I am looking for a good local contractor to pour a foundation for a small addition to our home, here in the neighborhood. If you have used someone recently for this kind of work I would greatly appreciate a referral. I am not looking for a builder or a general contractor, just someone who does concrete work. MemberConcrete Construction Company...very imaginative name, Vern Church is the owner, their office is/was down in lower ballard about 11th and 45th, next to the Ballard Railroad place. They do concrete, and they seem to like straight-forward form work and pouring. We used them here on a project for us, and they were very fair and helpful. They excavate, do the form work, and take care of the details. The first thing they wanted t see when they came on site was a permit, which is a good thing.
