The Forum is currently closed to new user registration, in the wake of a massive spam cleanup in December 2012. We plan to reopen it to new registrations very soon. Thank you for your patience.

I'm an old school Phinney/Greenwood resident (old school meaning before the condos), I have lived all over Seattle, north, south, east, west, and still hold a great deal of fondness for my years spent at 67th & Greenwood, still one of my favorite neighborhoods in town. Too bad we didn't have a "neighborhood blog/forum" like this back then. Three cheers to the hosts for bringing us this site, long live 'phinneywood.com'!

OK, the max dimensions on avatars are now set to 125x150 pixels. Let's see how that goes.

Allison, I re-uploaded your avatar at 100 pixels wide. Hope that works for you. Was the original larger than 150 pixels? I'm guessing it may have just resized your image to 150 pixels, which is really too big for this layout. I'll see if I can tweak that setting...

I hope this is an appropriate place to post. I just want to say that I'm tickled about us having a neighborhood forum to discuss this and that. I've lived in BalPhinleyWood since 1992 with a brief vacation over to QA--11.5 years in my current place. I'm maybe not as connected to my neighbors as I could be since I'm a lowly renter type, but definitely feel like a fixture in the 'hood. I will be passing on information about this website and forum to other friends I know who live nearby.
