I agree, it is almost half of the street - what has the city said?

Is anyone else worried about the way they changed the lanes on 3rd NW and NW 86th St by the new Fred Meyer? A very large turn lane was added and the existing north and southbound lanes were narrowed significantly and pushed very close to the curb. I understand that it was possibly done for semi's to pull in and out of the loading dock, but for us neighbors trying to pull out onto 3rd from 86th St, it has caused some serious safety concerns. I have called the city and talked to my direct neighbors, but I am curious how the larger area feels about this. I have the number for the city contact should anyone else want to call (get in touch with me), it is possible they could come out and review the design.

Thanks!
