Difficult Conversations Series: Seeing the Water — Whiteness in Daily Life from 7-8:30 p.m. Friday at the PNA in the Blue Building. $5-10 suggested donation. A workshop by Dr. Robin DiAngelo, the leading scholar on privilege and whiteness. Register to attend online.

Couth Buzzard Books, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N., presents Wilder Kind with Alex Sturban in concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday; Bill Davie and Kelly Murphy in concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday; and Open Jazz Jam with Kenny Mandell (all levels welcome) from 2-4:15 p.m. Sunday.

PNA Book Exchange from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 6532 Phinney Ave. N. Four genres: mysteries, science fiction, fantasy children’s books. Trade your gently used books for something new or buy paperbacks for $1 and hardbacks for $2.

Open House for Spanish Cooperative Preschool from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at the Phinney Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N.

PNA Wine Taste from 7:30-10 p.m. Saturday at 6532 Phinney Ave. N.

Holistic Moms Network Monthly Meeting from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday at Hooyman Family Chiropractic, 143 NW 85th St.

Evan the Magician’s Family Variety Show at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Phinney Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N., in the Brick Building. He’ll be joined by Master Payne (just back from performing at the Magic Castle in Hollywood), juggler and comedian Mario Lorenz, and Godfrey, a favorite of the local Moisture Festival. Tickets are $5 for kids and $10 for adults in advance (plus a small service fee through TicketLeap) or $7 and $12 at the door.
