Mayor Murray to lead a ‘Find It, Fix It Community Walk’ in Bitter Lake Saturday

by | Nov 10, 2015

Mayor Ed Murray will lead the latest in his Find It, Fix It Community Walks in Bitter Lake this Saturday, Nov. 14. The walk begins at 11 a.m. at the Bitter Lake Community Center, 13035 Linden Ave N, with coffee and pastries provided by Starbucks.

During the two-hour walk, the mayor, neighbors, police, and other City officials will identify nuisance and safety issues, such as graffiti, litter, street light outages, and overgrown trees. Once identified, the City and community work together to fix the problems.

You can download the Find It, Fix It app to report concerns such as potholes, graffiti, abandoned cars and more. Just take a photo and hit submit, and use the map’s drag and drop feature, or the phone’s GPS technology, to pinpoint the location.
