by | Aug 26, 2015

New Seattle Parks and Recreation Superintendent Jesús Aguirre is hosting a series of community meetings to learn more about the needs of each of the city’s neighborhoods.
He’ll be meeting with neighbors at the Bitter Lake Community Center, 13035 Linden Ave. N., from 7-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
Aguirre is also hosting two large open houses, where Parks & Recreation staff will share their work, from staffers who help purchase land to build new parks to those who organize summer camps. Open Houses will have food and free children’s activities. The open house closest to us is from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Northgate Community Center, 10510 5th Ave. NE.
