Metropolis cards and gifts store at 7319 Greenwood Ave. N. is celebrating its 34th anniversary on Saturday. Also, owner Terry Heiman is retiring and has sold the store to Sue Pasha, who will be at the celebration to meet customers.

The celebration lasts all day, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday with cake and close-outs on some merchandise that won’t be carried any more.

Congratulations to Metropolis for 34 years in the neighborhood, and to Terry for a well-deserved retirement!
