Coyle’s Bakeshop coming to Greenwood this winter

by | Aug 25, 2014

Pastry chef Rachael Coyle, who has had a popular pop-up bakery inside Book Larder, a cookbook store in Fremont, is opening a bakeshop in the former Allegra Printing space on the northeast corner of North 83rd Street and Greenwood Avenue. She hopes to open sometime this winter.

Coyle’s Bakeshop will specialize in handmade pastries inspired by French, British and classic American baking. It also will offer locally roasted coffee, loose-leaf tea and light lunch. The 1,200 square-foot space will include outdoor and indoor café seating.

Coyle is a Seattle native who graduated from the French Culinary Institute and has worked in the kitchens of The Herbfarm, Le Pichet and Cafe Presse.
