Jeopardy! champ Ken Jennings and ‘Simpsons’ writer George Meyer at Phinney Books Thursday

by | Aug 19, 2014

Phinney Books, 7405 Greenwood Ave. N., is hosting former Jeopardy! champion Ken Jennings and longtime “The Simpsons” writer George Meyer, both of whom live in or near Seattle, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Jennings has written several books, including the new “Junior Genius Guides.”

Phinney Books owner Tom Nissley (himself a former Jeopardy! champion) says it’s not a traditional author reading, since Jennings won’t be reading from his books and Meyer hasn’t written any, but he promises laughs from “fresh material.”
