Weekend events: Live music, farmers market, art walk, World Cup

Here are a few highlights of what’s happening in Phinney-Greenwood this weekend. Check our Events calendar any time for more.

Phinney Farmers Market from 3-7 p.m. Friday in the upper parking lot of the Phinney Neighborhood Association, 6532 Phinney Ave. N. Produce, bread, flowers, food trucks and more.

The monthly Art Up Phinneywood Artwalk is from 6-9 p.m. Friday with dozens of neighborhood galleries and other businesses featuring artists in a variety of mediums. Check out the artwalk website for a full list of participating venues, artists and a map.

Seattle School Boardmember Sherry Carr meets with constituents from 8:30-10 a.m. Saturday at Bethany Community Church, 8023 Green Lake Dr.

Harbor Church, 9204 11th Ave. NW, is hosting a Summer Kick-Off Celebration from 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday, with a free pancake breakfast and a magic show by Evan Reynolds.

The World Cup started Thursday and a bunch of neighborhood venues are showing some or all of the games. Check out Tuesday’s post for a list.

Pacific NW Folklore Society presents Molly Bauckham at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Couth Buzzard Books, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N. On Saturday, Couth Buzzards presents Sing with Kate Power & Steve Einhorn from 12-1:15 p.m.

Bitter Lake Bubble Blast and Field Day from 1-2:15 p.m. Saturday at the Bitter Lake Community Center.

The Literary Council of Seattle is holding its third annual book sale and fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at 8500 14th Ave. NW.

Seattle Singer-Songwriter Showcase at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Tim’s Tavern, 602 N. 105th St.
