K&L Interiors recently opened at 7226 Linden Ave. N. The full-service interior design firm is co-owned by Kelly Lyons and Lauren Hockema, who handle projects ranging from furniture and accessory selection to remodels and new home construction.

Kristjan Olsen and his wife Rachelle recently opened Gold Comb Salon at 8628 3rd Ave. NW., just west of Fred Meyer. The salon provides women’s and men’s haircuts, color, foil, blowouts and formal styling.

Phinney Ridge resident Megan Janes recently launched her new company Seattle Pops, which sells all-natural, gourmet popsicles. The popsicles will be sold at local farmers markets and events (but not, unfortunately, at the Phinney Farmers Market).

Seattle Pops serves delicious creamy and fruity pops that are locally sourced and all-natural! We offer the classic frozen treat in a healthier, fresher, and tastier way. We achieve this by using only fresh and as many local ingredients as possible. We never use artificial colors or flavors, and never use high fructose corn syrup. Our flavors are innovative and also classic, we offer Strawberry Basil, Lime, Creamy Coffee, Chocolate Raspberry, Peaches and Cream, Watermelon, and more.

We are in the Fremont Sunday Market, Columbia City, Wallingford, Shoreline, Bellevue, Madrona, and U- District. Seattle Pops are also available for catering and bulk orders.
