Art improv, Earth Day, music, Green Home Tour this weekend in Phinney-Greenwood

It’s closing weekend for Taproot Theatre’s “In the Book Of.”
Art Improv Workshop from 6:15-8:15 p.m. Friday at the PNA.
Carkeek Park’s 34th annual Earth Day Celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
NW Green Home Tour throughout the region on Saturday, including several homes and businesses in Phinneywood. Walking tour led by Feet First Board President Dave Ramsay begins at 11 a.m. at Hale’s Ales on Leary Way.
Seattle Folklore Society presents the American-Celtic folk music of Kat Eggleston, Kate MacLeod and Julie Mainstone at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Phinney Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N., in the Brick Building. Cost is $16 general, $14 SFS/PNA members and seniors; kids half price.

Seattle Canoe & Kayak Club Open House at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Green Lake Small Craft Center at the southwest end of the lake.
Entertainer/magician Evan Reynolds performs a family variety show from 3-4 p.m. Sunday at the PNA, with a special appearance by R2-D2.
The tasty Top Pot Doughnut Dash is Sunday morning at Green Lake. Be aware that traffic will be terrible and Metro buses will be rerouted off of East Green Lake Dr. N. for several hours. Check Metro’s Alerts page to see which routes are affected.
