King County Metro Transit is planning to cut up to 17 percent of its bus service unless it receives new funding. Metro is holding a public meeting in anticipation of those cuts from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at North Seattle Community College, 9600 College Way N., C1161 and North Star rooms.
In our neighborhood, the 5 Express, 28 Local and 48 Express would be deleted; the 5 Local, 28 Express and 358 Express/Rapid Ride E Line would be reduced or revised.
