Vision Greenwood Park needs volunteers to help create park expansion

by | Sep 26, 2013

The all-volunteer group Vision Greenwood Park has helped dramatically reshape Greenwood Park at 602 N. 87th St. over the last several years, including adding a community garden and a multi-use sport court. Now, the City of Seattle has purchased an adjacent site that will be incorporated into the park (in green in the image below).

VGP is applying for a Small and Simple Project grant from the city for the planning stage, and needs a certain amount of volunteer labor, donated materials or professional services, or cash as a match. If you can help them out in any way, please take the volunteer commitment survey.
