Phinney Ridge Gospel Choir concert to benefit Greenwood Food Bank this Sunday

The Phinney Ridge Gospel Choir will perform a benefit concert for the Greenwood Food Bank starting at 4 p.m. Sunday, at Luther Memorial Church, 13047 Greenwood Ave. N. Donations of non-perishable food items and/or financial donations are welcomed.

The Phinney Ridge Gospel Choir is a true ecumenical choir with voices from the Methodist, Lutheran, and Catholic traditions standing side by side with members who have no church affiliation. Focusing on Black Gospel Music, Spirituals, and South African Freedom Songs, the 35 voice choir is a high-energy chorus that sings throughout the Phinneywood community. The Greenwood Food Bank is at 9041 Greenwood Ave. and serves over 1000 individuals each month.
