Northwest District Council meets Wednesday to discuss light rail, street trees, neighborhood projects

The Northwest District Council meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Greenwood Senior Center, 525 N. 85th St.
On the agenda:

  • A representative of Sound Transit will discuss a Link Light Rail system that would go beyond Northgate, and how it would serve communities in the Northwest District.
  • City Arborist Nolan Rundquist will discussed a proposed Seattle Street Tree Ordinance.
  • 2013 Neighborhood Park Street Fund proposals from NW District.
  • Park Green Space Levy Opportunity Fund – NW District projects and selection process.

The NWDC meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month, except in July, November and December (it meets on the first Wednesday each December).
