Holiday events, sales, salmon and live music in Greenwood-Phinney this weekend

Here are a few events happening around the neighborhood this weekend. Check our Events calendar any time for more.
The Phinney Neighborhood Association’s 32nd annual Winter Festival & Crafts Fair is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, with 115 vendors, hundreds of musicians and dancers, and plenty of tasty treats. Admission is $2 for PNA members, $4 general, kids 12 and under are free. Please also bring a can of food to donate to the Greenwood Food Bank. (Note: PhinneyWood is a sponsor of the Winter Festival, and the PNA is a sponsor of PhinneyWood.)
Tony’s Coffee Bar at 7001 3rd Ave. NW is having its grand opening celebration from 7-10 tonight with author readings and refreshments.
Beppa Studios is hosting its Holiday Sale from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at 7600 6th Ave. NW, with clothing, jewelry, gifts, carded buttons and more.
Taproot Theatre continues its holiday run of “Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Christmas Carol,” at 204 N. 85th St.
Troupeau Acadien – Live Cajun Music & Dance at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Couth Buzzard Books Espresso Buono CafĂ©, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N.
Jack Dwyer & Tim Connell, Twin Mandolins at 8 p.m. Friday at Empty Sea Studios, 6300 Phinney Ave. N. $12 in advance, $15 at the door. If you can’t make it there in person, it’s also being webcast on Empty Sea TV.
Carkeek Park Salmon Stewards will be at the park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday to answer visitors’ questions about salmon.
Sing Heigh Ho! Northwest Chamber Chorus Christmas Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church, 7500 Greenwood Ave. N.
