NW District Council meets Wednesday

The Northwest District Council meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the Greenwood Senior Center, 525 N. 85th St.

On the agenda:

  • A Chat with King County Councilmember Larry Phillips
  • Presentation by LIHI (Low Income Housing Institute) Volunteer Coordinator Sarah Tapp
  • Committee and Staff reports
  • Holiday refreshments – Cake and hot cider provided; feel free to bring your own favorite holiday treat to share.

Please bring contributions for the Greenwood Food Bank. Donations of cash are very welcome as are: personal hygiene items (soap, toothpaste, deodorant, etc), and non perishable food (canned fruit, vegetable, meat, and boxed meals). Brandy King, Development & Outreach Manager for Volunteers of America – Greenwood Food Bank will be joining us to receive our contributions and update us on the status of this vital community service.
