KOMO: Thieves steal wife’s ashes from car in Phinney Ridge

KOMO 4 reports that someone stole a backpack with a woman’s ashes from a car parked in Phinney Ridge. Widower Mark Matson told KOMO he put the backpack with his wife’s  ashes into his SUV on Monday night. He planned to hike into the Cascades the next morning to spread her ashes.
