Greenwood Physical Therapy expanding to Fremont

by | May 4, 2012

Greenwood Physical Therapy, which opened in 2003, is expanding to Fremont, inside Bria Pilates, at 101 W. Nickerson St. Suite 110. The Fremont location opens on May 15.
Physical therapists Rosie Tkaczuk, DPT, and Danielle Bergstedt, DPT, OCS, will staff the new clinic.

Both physical therapists have extensive training in Pilates and use Pilates to stay fit themselves.
“We have clients who are interested in participating in Pilates-based exercise programs. Some are limited by pain, or are hesitant to participate in traditional Pilates because of a pre-existing medical condition. We feel physical therapists are best suited to bridge the gap between traditional physical therapy and Pilates,” said owner Michael Osaki, PT. “Pilates based-PT is great for people of all ages who need advanced core strengthening, including gymnasts, dancers, pre and postpartum clients, and anyone who hasn’t had results with traditional physical therapy. Our clinic at this location is unique in that it is located within a Pilates studio, so our clients and physical therapists will have access to a studio full of specialized Pilates equipment.”

The Greenwood clinic is at 8750 Greenwood Ave. N.
