Fundraiser for Rickshaw employees after grease fire damaged restaurant

A grease fire at Rickshaw Restaurant and Lounge at 322 N. 105th St. on March 24 shut down the restaurant temporarily, but it’s taking longer than expected to make the repairs, meaning its employees are out of a paycheck.
Kathy’s Pizza, Grill & Sports Bar at 930 N. 130th St. is hosting a fundraiser for Rickshaw employees from 5 p.m. to midnight on Wednesday, May 16.
A beer pong competition, karaoke, trivia and $1 raffle tickets will raise money for employees to help make ends meet. Pizza slices will be $2, and Bud Light pitchers will be $8.
