by | Dec 20, 2011

The “Think & Drink” conversation series, sponsored by Humanities Washington, returns to Naked City Brewery & Taphouse, 8564 Greenwood Ave. N., with six more events next year.
The first, “Alien Encounters: Sci-Fi Movies, the Cold War and Today,” is at 7 p.m. on Jan. 11. It’s hosted by Robert Horton (right), author and film critic for The (Everett) Herald and KUOW, and features film clips from classic sci-fi films such as “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” and “The Day the Earth Stood Still.”
It’s free, except for your drinks and food.

The Think & Drink series is also branching out to Spokane in February and June, and Yakima and April and August. Naked City hosts the event every other month. The topics for the rest of the year haven’t been chosen yet.
