Emerald City Orchids is opening its new cafe today and giving away free lattes all day long, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at 716 NW 65th St.
Lunch served at the Emerald City Orchids Café will include sandwiches and salads from Molly’s Salads. Pastries and desserts will be from Macrina bakery and coffee and espresso will be from Fremont Coffee Company, offering all local bites and beverages.
Emerald City Orchids first opened in 2008, and moved to Ballard/Phinney in, January 2010. The store offers about 500 kinds of orchids.
