Neighborhood project workshop on Tuesday in Ballard

The city will hold a workshop in Ballard on Tuesday on brainstorming ideas and working through the application process for the next round of Small and Simple Projects Fund grants from the Department of Neighborhoods’ Neighborhood Matching Fund.
The workshop is from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Ballard Public Library, 5614 22nd Ave NW. The application deadline is 5 p.m. on Oct. 17. This round of grants will focus on emergency preparedness. Another workshop is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at The 2100 Building, 2100 24th Ave S.
