Design Review meeting for Taproot Theatre expansion on Monday

The Design Review Board meeting for Taproot Theatre’s expansion will be at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 13, at the Ballard High School Library, 1418 NW 65th St. Taproot plans a 12,000-square-feet expansion into the area formerly occupied by the Eleanor Roosevelt Building, which was destroyed in the Oct. 23, 2009, arson.
Taproot’s proposal for the building at 208 NW 85th St. will have a cafe, a second performance and rehearsal space, new scene shop and offices.
