Dog found in Phinney – do you recognize him?

July 30th, 2010 · 3 Comments

ZoeDog writes in the Forum that they found a “a large, male, unneutered dog (chestnut with cream-color markings around his neck)” at North 71st Street and Fremont Avenue North on Tuesday. He did not have a name tag or a microchip, but did have a very worn rabies tag with a vet’s number that was unreadable.

The dog is now at the Seattle Animal Shelter, case #9267. Their phone is 206-386-PETS. ZoeDog posted more pictures here.

What’s with the one-sock-and-sandal look on the human there? Stay classy Seattle…

It’s obvious from the picture that the person is wearing a pressure stocking on one leg. Might want to look before you open your mouth to criticize.

TRG—Please be more thoughtful before you poke fun. The choice of wardrobe was not by choice, but by medical necessity. It was a warm/hot day and we didn’t plan to rescue a dog, thus offending your need for everyone to walk with a ‘classy fashion sense.’

I hope that if you are ever in a similar situation that you are treated with more compassion than you have treated others.

Thank you, PhinneyRidgian, for speaking up.
