More wacky weather today. Here’s a photo that Silver sent of a storm cloud moving over Phinney.
Just moments before, there was hail at 15th and Market in Ballard. But we didn’t see a drop of precipitation at our place in Lower Phinney, just blue sky and fluffy white clouds.

great shot! to my eye, this looks a bit like a supercell cloud, which in the midwest is frequently a precursor to tornadic activity. hail often occurs with them.

I was riding home on the #48 bus at about this time. On 65th, between 15th and Roosevelt, it looked like it had just snowed!!
