Flock, Sugarcomb Salon, and Furnishments, the three businesses on the corner of Linden Avenue North and North 73rd Street – a little neighborhood they call Linden Corners - are having a holiday party from 3-8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12.
Our trio of shops at 73rd & Linden Avenue N. will be celebrating the holidays and the recent corner makeover (a combined effort from neighborhood residents, SDOT, and local businesses to both beautify the intersection & make it safer for pedestrians), and we’re inviting the public to join in the festivities.
Both Sugarcomb Salon and Flock will be hosting a small handful of local artists for the event, and all three shops will be offering special holiday deals. Find the perfect gift, treat yourself to something nice, or just come say hello!

You will have alot of time to view these stores while waiting to make a right turn now that they have eliminated the right turn lane.

The only thing I’ve noticed that the new traffic adjustment does is prevent me from “merging” right like an Indycar driver leaving the pitlane.
Unless I’m stuck behind someone too timid to turn left…

Wow, those are some insightful comments! You should actually try to support local neighborhood businesses (instead of griping over right turns). Seriously, is that all you have to say about this? Why even comment? Just shut up and keep driving.
I’ve been to each shop on the Linden corner (and bought a couple items at the t-shirt shop too)– each is a great addition to the neighborhood. I hope the neighborhood gets out and supports these guys..
