The Seattle Fire Department and Seattle Police Department are holding an arson information meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Upper Crust Catering, 8420 Greenwood Ave. N. Enter at the 85th Street entrance next to the bus stop and go to the second floor.
This follows the seven arsons in the neighborhood since June, including the destruction of four businesses on 85th Street two weeks ago, and another two last Thursday morning, which SFD believes were set by the same person and discovered about half an hour apart.

As will I. (Standing by for Phinneywood coverage of tonight’s fire BTW. Be careful out there…)

Just saw this Tweet from KIRO7:
“Seattle Fire tells KIRO 7 News that they are on the scene of a fire behind a business at N. 78th and Greenwood Ave N. The fire is out.”

How is this person (s) escaping detection? Get some camera’s on your business people and get a photo of the perp/person. this is unreal in today’s world. Check satellite photo’s? someone has seen this perp.

Police: Find a fire damage restoration company struggling to stay afloat, whose owner lives in Greenwood. You may have your perpetrator.

Note that this meeting is inaccessible to wheelchair users and other people with disabilities. This is such an insult to us who live in Greenwood and wish to participate. LET’S MOVE THIS to an accessible setting - Senior center, library, Phinney neighborhood center?

I agree about the non-accessible setting, way to not think about everyone. I say, come anyways, and we can band together to get you up, or make them come down to the parking lot.
