Local businesses some of the ‘Best’

Congratulations to several neighborhood businesses who won or were runners-up in KING 5′s annual “Best of Western Washington” contest. Here they are:

There were so many categories to check that I’m sure we’ve missed a few. Please let us know of anything we missed in comments.

    Don’t forget about Beachcomber Kids Cuts on Phinney! They placed #3, but are #1 in my book! :)

    I have to say I continue to be amazed at the Gorditos accolades. I just don’t think the food is that good, but de gustibus & all that.

    Gorditos should have won for “largest, most mediocre burrito”.

    And Lunchbox Laboratory? Maybe for “Most overpriced burger serve with a side of snark”.

    Yeah, Gordito’s isn’t bad but I would never call it the best.
    But completely agree about Naked City. :-)

    Oliver’s Twist got recognized as having one of the top 5 Happy Hours for cocktails in the city by Seattle Magazine:

    We avoid Gordito’s after some very bad eating experiences there. I would say Tacos Guaymas is much much better.
