More local restaurants gain attention

by | Oct 2, 2009

Yesterday we wrote about Oliver’s Twist getting a big shout-out from a Seattle Times food reviewer. Now we’ve got two more foodie mentions.
Picnic (a PhinneyWood sponsor), also got a great review from Times food reviewer Nancy Leson earlier this week.

And as I stood there at the check-out counter checking out my sandwich, the taste and texture (melting, crunchy) knocked me out.

And now Red Mill Burgers is rated one of America’s Best Burgers on msn.com.

It’s an attractive burger with a well-manicured fast-food façade, but there’s also rich, hot and smoky personality.

Be sure and let us know any time you see one of the neighborhood’s restaurants getting some props.
