Our sister site, Magnolia Voice, reports on a number of cougar sightings in their neighborhood in the last few days. And KING 5 just reported on their 5 p.m. newscast that someone also reported a cougar in our neck of the woods, near Hwy. 99 and Linden Avenue, earlier today.
Has anyone seen a cougar in the neighborhood?

A few months ago I saw three or four cougars at Oliver’s Twist.

Well, if you’re a Cougar in the neighborhood and need a drink? Where else would you go but OT’s?

Um, don’t Linden and Aurora (Hwy 99) run parallel to each other? If it was near those two, that could be just about anywhere.

Linden does curve in several places, coming very close to crossing Aurora at 66th and 73rd, so it may have been more of a general description by whoever saw the cougar. KING’s story also says it was near the zoo and Woodland Park.

First a bear, now a cougar. Obviously we need to raise the bridge to Magnolia at night…

If the area in question was Phinney/Greenwood between 66th and 73rd, the cougar was almost certainly at Ed’s Kort Haus, their natural habitat.

Lots of cougars on Phinney….middled, divorced hippies in 100 color outfits, unshaven legs and still refusing to wear bras despite what 30 years of women’s lib and gravity have done to drag ‘em downward.

@Dan, the cougar might wind up on a bun if it goes to Ed’s Kort Haus.

Well played, Etta.
That’s why they’re all at Baranofs.

We were awoken at 4am this morning by ungodly growls! Could not find the source but it certainly was not the usual cat or raccoon….I’m thinkin’ it was a cougar!

According to Freud, sometimes a cougar is just a cigar.

Cougars are very dangerous. Make sure you have a phone number to the free clinic available after your encounter.

If you see a cougar with an angry face, a WOMAD t shirt, and a Ken’s Market Bag…she is not a Cougar….she/he is a :
