And the beer taste winners are…

July 20th, 2009 · 2 Comments

You couldn’t ask for better weather and a nicer crowd at Saturday’s PNA Summer Beer Taste:

The Honky Tonk Review put on a good show too.

Nice work, PNA beer committee - all 18 of you. I was not the only person wondering how to volunteer for that gig…

Enough delaying, here are the winning beers, according to Chardell at the PNA:
1st place - Gilligan’s Chamomile Ale
2nd place - Maritime Pacific Triple Dry Hopped Islander pale Ale
3rd place, tie - Boulevard Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale, and Trade Route Sweet & Sour.

What were your favorites?

Man, I’m interested in checking out this Gilligan’s.
    Hadn’t even heard of them.

Gilligan’s is still located down near Hale’s on the Burke-Gillman trail. The are not open all the time but just look south on the trail for the open garage space. And yes, they make some very nice beers.
