Artman1951 sent us a couple great photos of the Seafair Clowns, who stopped by the Phinney Market at about 4 p.m. Saturday.

My favorite was this cheeky one:

You’ll have a chance to see more of the Seafair Clowns July 22 during the Greenwood Seafair Parade. The parade starts at 6 p.m. at 95th Street and Greenwood Avenue North, heading south to North 85th, where it turns right and heads west on 85th to 6th Avenue NW.

These were the clowns protesting the zoo elephants, right?

God bless the clowns who volunteer their time to make children happy. Notice they are not part of a circus like Ringling that abuses elephants.

The Seafair Clownsprovide so much fun and frolic every year throughout our community. I know that they are all volunteers and it is refreshing to see the laughs and giggles they provide to young and old. We all need humor in our lives and the Seafair Clowns always come to the rescue. Thank you for what you do.
