Can someone e-mail this list to the folks who run the new Phinney Market? Capitalizing on these events might be the only way they stay relevant and in business, IMHO.

Why Metropolitan Market and only a “limited number” sold at at the Zoo?

george–I’m pretty sure Met Market pays to be the primary ticket outlet.
Pretty excited about Joan Baez!

I was checking groceries in the early 90’s in Palo Alto, CA. Joan Baez came through my line.
She had a bag of potato chips which she had already opened and started eating from.
I said to her, “you just couldn’t wait, could you?”
She said, “hey, it’s the American way.”
She talks like she sings. In stanzas and such.
