Bunny Bounce at the zoo on Saturday

by | Apr 10, 2009

Bring the kids to Woodland Park Zoo Saturday morning for the annual Bunny Bounce, where thousands of eggs are hidden throughout the North Meadow. Egg hunts are held from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and they’re free with zoo admission.

Bring your own own basket or bag for the egg hunt. A limited supply of egg hunt bags will be provided for children without their own bag or basket.

For the health and well being of zoo animals, candy will not be placed inside the eggs – egg hunt participants will receive their treats as they exit the zoo.

Egg hunts for ages 3 and under are held continuously in the fenced corral near the North Meadow from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Egg hunts for ages 3-5 and 6-8 are held in the North Meadow at 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
The zoo animals also get a little Easter fun as they nibble on Easter baskets lined with flowers, berries and other favorite treats.
