This place is my fav place around, its a great neighborhood bar with great beer, german beer. The bartenders are great once you get to know them, and the food is awesome!!!

I can’t comment on the food, as I’ve only just had the pretzels. But the beer selection is German (’nuff said) and served in the glassware intended for it. Which usually means a glass as tall as I am.

Leave your hot girlfriend at home unless you want a bunch of drunk Germanic looking guys leering weirdly at you from the bar like a gang of letches… otherwise great beer

Great beer but I prefer the Stube & Feierabend. For some reason the service here is under par. I’ve been ignored by the wait staff several times.

My son won a gift card to Probst! and gave it to me! It is very cultural, Bring your hot girlfriend if you like, and know that germanic guys leering is kind of a basic state, no offence, in result of beers meat and so forth.
Come drink a pint in my name ( a nearly 50 year old celt) so I can have a chair named in my honor!

This was an amazing place when it first opened. Now , though, it’s about ein half-schtep from a frat bar, Phinney-style. Trivia night! I mean, c’mon– realloy? Can’t we leave that to places like Bleachers? It’s also sausage fest many nights of the week. If you order food, it will be served about 1 hour later. But the beer, the beer, the beer — it’s great. It’s German. What else needs to be said? Little known secret: You get a free beer if you correctly guess the name of the kid in the big black-and-white photo, the one who appears to have his ass where his junk should be.

Optimator + Sausages = Heaven!!

I don’t drink at all but this place makes me wish I could.. I steal sips from the BF.. But the sausages are all mine!
