A great coffee shop. Excellent coffee & tea, Molly Moon Ice Cream, WiFi, and beer & wine. The owners strive to be a part of and contribute to the Phinneywood community. Check out the theme trivia nights, they are a great time.
I love this coffee shop – the best in all Phinneywood. Owners are great, staff are friendly, music is always fun (and not too loud if you’re working or reading) and, importantly, the stumptown coffee is excellent! They are a huge asset to the neighborhood.
This is also my favorite coffee shop, but that’s in part because Dan is a fellow never-nude. It’s true – ask him.
Not my favorite cup of coffee, but I love this place nonetheless. The owners have created a place that is a real asset to the community.
Pleasant service, good coffee, Wi-fi and light ambiance. And ice cream.
I am only interested in PRIMO coffee. This place has so-so coffee. I suggest you try Seven Roasters, now those are great beans, even though the service is not as good. Nice people.
Phenomenally Slow.
Happy, responsive coffee-slingers, a great music selection, etc. etc. A gem and an asset to the ‘hood.
I really enjoyed meeting an ole friend at the Neptune. The service was kind, coffee was good, and they have self serve refill coffee availble after the initial mocha.
Seeing someone carrying a Neptune cup downtown always makes me smile a bit, because it reminds me of what a great coffee shop this is. Good drinks, made by people who know what they’re doing, with good quality beans. I love the un-pretentious atmosphere here, too. Just a pleasant place to be, whether you’re dropping by in the morning or sitting down for an afternoon/evening of loafing around with your laptop or a good book.
The baristas are competent, and normally friendly, but one of the young male baristas eyes you while he gives you change. Sorry, but I don’t need the pressure to tip for a simple drip coffee. Unlike most Neptune employees, this barista also makes his drip with a generous pour of water and frugal dashing of coffee grinds.
