Seattle man to run to all 27 libraries in one day

by | Dec 18, 2008

Remember the Library Hikers who recently completed a series of hikes to all 27 Seattle Public Libraries to get their passports stamped? Now there’s a Seattle man who is running to all the libraries with his passport in hand – but he’s doing it all in one day!
Sam Thompson will start at the Broadview branch at 12755 Greenwood Ave. N. at 10 a.m. Thursday and head south to the Greenwood Branch, and on to West Seattle and southeast Seattle before finishing at the Montlake Branch shortly before it closes at 8 p.m. That’s a total of 60 miles.
He’s even going to provide Twitter updates throughout the day so you can follow his progress. If anyone gets a photo of him at Greenwood Library, please send it to us!
