This place is a surprise gem! Affordable, authentic Indian cuisine. The platters (vegetarian or meat) are great to share and I absolutely love their butter chicken. Nice service and ambiance inside, too.

I was very unimpressed with Kalia (we had take-out). The vegetables in my masala dish tasted old, and the sauce was bland. The vegetable samosas were horrible. My husband had a chicken curry, and was unimpressed too. I won’t eat from here again.

We love the spices! Order any of the Nan breads, korma and the tikka masala. Don’t foget the Yeti.

Naomi, I’m sad to hear you had a bad experience. We’ve had amazing vegetable masala from them, and I absolutely adore their Saag Gosht (Lamb dish)
Their chai is great in a time when many restaurants seem to be getting lazy with chai.
The staff is always pleasant and not pushy. One thing that may be a turn off for some (but we love it) is the tv playing musical snippets from Bollywood films.

I like this place a lot, I had mostly vegetarian dishes because both my friends were vegetarians but the food was so good I didn’t miss having meat at all..

The curries were aromatic, not as spicy as I wanted it to be, but then again, I guess that was so that we could actually taste all the dishes we had..

I’m going back again for more food, my favorite new place for an Indian fix..
