After 22 years in business at the same location, Tom Schultz is closing up shop at the end of this month.
While the signs at 5914 Phinney Avenue say it’s a moving sale, he says he’s actually retiring from pottery, closing up shop and the Web site. Prices at the store are marked down 30-70 percent. If you’re interested in stopping by, the store is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The store is just south of the late Phinney Market, making for two empty businesses on the block. A sign in the former market’s window says they’re looking for a community-oriented business to move in. Should you be that business, call Nick at (206) 783-9191.

Does anyone know if any of the sinks are available for sale somewhere else? I had my heart on one and waited too long to buy from Schultz’s! I really loved it. Would appreciate any information. THanks

I bought a wonderful sink from Schultz and went by to get another. Guess I missed the closing sale by more than a few months.
Does Schultz still do any special projects or does anyone know of a similar store/artist, etc?

I guess there would be a good market if someone were to fill this niche. If they do them I would love to purchase a sink! I am sick that I missed my chanse, I’ve been waiting to own a bathroom to remodel to buy a sink.
