Lance sends us this one of what we have to assume is some sort of pole cozy, or pole warmer outside of Metropolis on Greenwood Avenue near 74th Street:

In an earlier post, we wrote about a guerrilla knitting group from the Fiber Gallery putting up random knit items along Greenwood Avenue to see if anyone would notice. Leah, Sophie and Owen are in the background, apparently waiting for Lance to finish admiring the knitting job.

Unfortunately, the last time I checked, the knitted crossing flag has disappeared.

This is so cool! I love when people do this kind of thing! (Too bad about the knitted flag - but it’s expected - I mean people seem to love to take the regular boring flags so of course someone was going to snatch such a cool one!)

I liked the bench warmer. Such a fun thing! Thank you guerilla knitters.
