Old McDonald’s looks new again

July 22nd, 2008 · 4 Comments

The fence around the building has been removed, I’m guessing on Monday as it was pretty early this morning when this picture was taken:

Original word was that it was going to be torn down, but then work started on upgrading the roof and painting over the graffiti. Now if only they could do something about that eyesore of a space where the play area used to reside:

JM also notes in comments on the previous post that the uneven sidewalk out front could use some work as well.

Looks like a great building to open a McDonald’s franchise in.

    Any takers?

From my understanding there is a street (”Greenwood Place” I believe) that is to go through there to the other street, which makes me wonder how McD’s will do any sort of a drive-up. I found this out from one of the business owners along Greenwood in that area.

So no one knows what kind of a business is taking up residence at the former home of the golden arches? Curiosity is killing me!
