Standoff in Greenwood is over

by | May 29, 2008

You may have heard helicopters buzzing the neighborhood this afternoon. King-TV sent its “Skyking” to check out some police activity at the 9000 block of 4th Ave NW. According to the Times, police responded to a home earlier this morning after reports that a man was acting strangely and barricaded himself in his home. Later police informed the media that two boys ages 11 and 13 were inside the house with the man. Just before 1 o’clock this afternoon the man surrendered to police. SPD doesn’t believe the man threatened the children.
